The International Travel Certificates gets generated within 2 hours of your request. You can download your certificate 2 hours after applying for it and store them on the eka.care app.
Does the International Travel Certificate allows me to travel to all the countries?
You may be able to enter some countries with the Internaltional Travel Certificate, while you may have to provide a range of test results in others. Entry requirements vary across different countries.
How can I apply for International Travel Certificate?
eka.care enables you to link your passport with Cowin Certificate. We also recommend you to store the certificate in eka.care app. The International Travel Certificates are generated within 2 hours of placing your request.
Do I need an International Travel Certificate in case of travelling abroad.
International Travel Certificate has been introduced by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, which complies with international standards for travel abroad. The certificate serves as a proof that the individual has received all doses of vaccination for travelling internationally. This certificate enables you enter countries without any hassle of quarantine or going through tests for COVID-19.

Whos responsibility is to provide the vaccination certificate?
It is the responsibility of the Vaccination center to provide a printed copy of Vaccine certificate. The certificate is provided on the day of vaccination once your vaccination is done. Benifciries can insist on receiving the certificate at the center itself.
In Private Hospitals, the charges for providing a printed copy of the certificate are included in the service charge for vaccination, so benificiaries need not pay the amount.
Why do I need a certificate of Vaccination?
The government issues a COVID Vaccine Certificate (CVC), which is an assurance to the beneficiary on the vaccination (type of vaccine used). The provisional certificate also provides the next vaccination due. The certificate of Vaccination (CVC) becomes an evidence for the benificiary to prove to any entities which may require proof of vaccination. This is specially observed in case of travel. You can download your vaccine certificate on eka.care.
Vaccination is not only important to protect individuals from disease, but also reduces their risk of spreading the virus. There could be a requirement in near future to produce vaccination certificates for social interactions and International travel."

The Vaccination Centers need to ensure that if a beneficiary is being vaccinated with 2nd dose, the first dose vaccination should have been done with the same vaccine as is being offered at the time of second dose. The vaccine center also needs to check that for Covaxin, the first dose was administered more than 28 days ago, 84 days ago for COVISHIELD and 21 days ago for SPUTNIK V.
We also urge you to share the correct information about the vaccine type and the date of 1st dose vaccination with the vaccinator. It is recommended to carry your vaccine certificate issued after the first dose.

At the time of scheduling an appointment, eka.care will show you the vaccine which is being administered in each Vaccination Center. Beneficiary can select the Vaccination Center as per their choice of vaccine being administered.

How do I pre-register myself online for a COVID-19 vaccination appointment?
For each vaccination session, the available number of slots is given on the screen.
You have to find a vaccination session of your choice that is not marked as booked. Then, book a slot by clicking on the number of slots. You will have to give some basic information about yourself and details of your photo identification card to get yourself registered online.
Is the vaccination free at all Vaccination Centers?
No. For beneficiaries aged 45 years and above, vaccination is free at Government hospitals and charged at INR 250 in Private hospitals.
Will the Cowin system automatically schedule my appointment for the 2nd dose?
No, the system does not automatically book your 2nd dose. The process for taking 2nd dose is similar, an appointment has to be taken on eka.care or on the the CoWIN system. You can book an appointment in a Vaccination center of your preference, where the same vaccine is being administered as the vaccine type (COVAXIN, COVISHIELD or SPUTNIK V) of the 1st dose.

eka.care is a Cowin Approved partner. We only fetch appointment slots from the Cowin Portal. In case there is no slot available for a spcific time ad date in the searched Vaccination Center, you will have to try scheduling your appointment in other nearby centers. With eka.care, you can search the Vaccination Centers using your PIN code or District. You can also set alerts on the eka.care app and get notified as soon as your prefered slot is avialable as per your selected time, vaccine type and the cost of vaccination.

No, there is not limit to register on Cowin website. However, if you have entered a wrong OTP 3 times, it will not allow you to login from the same instance. To login again you would need to refresh the browser to create a new session and again login with your mobile no and the new generated otp.
Is there a limit per day to register and get your vaccination certificate, by accessing CoWIN website or eka.care.
No, there is no limitation in the number of times to access and download the certificate. However, if one tries innumerably, the system may treat such cases as a bug. You download the vaccine certificate through eka.care website or can use eka.care WhatsApp to download your certificate in seconds.
Note: If one enters a wrong OTP, a waiting period of 180 seconds is to be maintained before one can request another OTP to access his certificate.
